Supported housing provides safe and stable accommodation for individuals who may require additional support to live independently.  The accommodation allows residents to live independently while accessing support services from specialist providers.

We are typically looking for residential properties with a minimum of 2/3 bedrooms that are suitable for use as supported housing. Properties should be located within County Durham and maintained to a good standard, however, should improvements needed to be made then this can be organised.

If you are unsure whether your property is suitable, our team would be happy to discuss this with you.

Landlords partner with New Leaf Wellbeing Homes by supplying suitable residential properties that can be used within supported housing schemes. Once a property is approved, it becomes part of our supported housing network for a minimum of a 3 year contract. Guaranteed income with no extra fees.

No. The supported housing model involves working with specialist housing providers who manage the accommodation and provide support services to residents. This means landlords are not responsible for day-to-day tenant support.

Yes. There is currently a significant shortage of supported accommodation across many areas of the UK. Local authorities and housing providers are actively seeking suitable properties to meet the growing demand for supported housing.

Partnerships are designed to provide stability for both landlords and housing providers. Agreements are typically structured to support long-term housing solutions approximately 3 years contracts are agreed initially

Landlords who partner with us benefit from:

  • Strong demand for suitable properties
  • Long-term housing arrangements - No voids, No Council Tax, No Utility Bills
  • The opportunity to contribute to an important social housing initiative whilst  earning 50% enhanced rental amounts above local standard market rates
  • Professional partnerships within the supported housing sector
